Nurturing Life Connections is excited to share that we have new therapy capacity opening in Cairns and Mossman from January 2026.

If your child is needing support with emotional regulation, confidence, social skills, developmental milestones, or engagement through play we would love to support your family in the new year.

Our play-based, strengths-focused and nature-inspired approach supports children aged 0–12 to grow through meaningful, connection-driven play.

As a Registered NDIS Provider, we offer:

Calling all Northern Beaches families.

Play Matters is hosting a FREE Pop-Up Playgroup at Coastwatchers Park, Trinity Beach — a great opportunity for children aged 0–5 to enjoy sensory play, water play, physical play and more.

It’s a wonderful way to connect with other local families and explore play-based experiences that support early development.

Jazmyn is returning to Outreach Therapy in January 2026, and we’re now taking new referrals for Term 1 in Cairns Surrounds and Mossman. Play-Based Therapy spots are available with Jazmyn or the wonderful Mrs Cate.

Plus, Mrs Tracey is moving to the Macedon Ranges in Victoria and will be offering therapy from March 2026. If you’re in that area, now’s the time to secure a place, limited spots available!

⚠️ Important Safety Alert for Parents, Carers & Teachers ⚠️

The ACCC has recalled several brands of children’s coloured sand after traces of asbestos were found.
Products include Kadink Sand, Educational Colours Rainbow Sand and Creatistics Coloured Sand sold at Officeworks, Modern Teaching Aids, Zart Art, and others between 2020–2025.

👉 Stop using these products immediately
👉 Store safely and contact the supplier for refund/disposal info
👉 Do not throw in general waste

When we slow down and get down to a child’s level, something magical happens we enter their world.

A world filled with wonder, curiosity, and connection.

To a child, eye contact means “you see me.”
Sitting beside them means “you’re with me.”
Joining in their play means “what matters to me, matters to you.”

Our mission is to help children aged 0–12 build confidence, emotional regulation, and connection through meaningful play. As a Registered NDIS Provider, we deliver flexible, family-centred supports in the environments where children learn and grow, including schools, early learning centres, and community settings.

We’re heading to the Cairns Disability EXPO!

On Tuesday the 19th of August 2025, our whole Nurturing Life Connections team will be at Raintrees Shopping Centre for the Cairns Disability EXPO – and we can’t wait to see you there.

We’ve prepared a unique sensory experience at our stall. You’ll need to put your senses to the test, and those who take part will have the chance to go in the draw for some exciting prizes. The details? You’ll have to visit us to find out.
