How does it work?

🪡 A fine needle is used to pass a current over the vein or vascular lesion and unlike IPL and Lasers, pigmentation changes are not a risk factor and you can return to the FNQ climate without the pigmentation downtime of IPL or Laser treatment.

ThermaVein® uses a process known as thermocoagulation which seals the thread vein walls, using a very low current, causing them to permanently disappear. It is commonly used in conjunction with sclerotherapy.

Facial scarring can be treated by different modalities. What is often the case, is that it may require several different treatments and also several courses of treatments for a long-term effect.

These pictures (left pre-treatment and right post-treatment) are of early results (2 treatments) using a treatment regimen with ® products pre and post-treatment, and ® needling. They show an improvement in the contour and appearance of the facial scarring, but it’s also important to note that despite the strong sun 🌞 in FNQ and the needling 💉, there is no issue with pigmentary changes post treatment.

We’re pleased to be able to treat blue (reticular) veins on legs with injections 💉 that shrivel the vein (microsclerotherapy). This can often treat the larger veins, but often to successfully treat unsightly leg veins, combined treatments are required. Spider veins (thread veins/telangectasiae) are often too small to inject.

Thermavein®works by treating spider veins on the legs by treating the vessel walls so they collapse. The vessels disappear and while there may be some red marks, normal activities can be resumed immediately afterwards. Normal sun exposure after treatments is also possible. It is often necessary to have several treatment courses to remove these groups of veins.
