Hi, I’m Christine Barnes and I’m the Senior practitioner and CEO of The Body Guard Clinic here in Noosa, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. I’ve been passionate about natural medicine since I was a teenager growing up in rural NSW. Although already highly qualified and living well, this didn’t stop me being diagnosed in 2013 with bowel cancer. After having part of my bowel removed I decided to discover how this could possibly have happened to someone that followed a lifelong path of health and wellness such as in my case. This led me to discover how we can utilise functional medicine tests and epigenetics to help illness prevention and build optimal wellness, no matter your health history, genetics or symptoms.
Today The Body Guard Clinic is a team of nutritionists, naturopaths, researchers and student practitioners that contribute and support you in your health journey. We help people Australia wide, UK, Europe & NZ via Skype. In addition we service our local Sunshine Coast patients here at the Noosa Clinic specialising in resistant, complex cases.
