Heavy rain can disrupt Cairns’ water supply. With some reservoirs offline and treatment plants affected by dirty water, short interruptions are possible.

✔️ Store drinking water in clean, food-grade containers
✔️ Keep it in a cool & dark place and refresh every 3 months
✔️ Save non-drinking water (rain, shower, or pool water) for toilets and gardens

A little preparation means you can still drink, cook and clean if water services are disrupted.
