Meet Hans

Hans is part of our Community Cart Division at Enabling Pathways and is proudly leading this space alongside the team, delivering vital food relief to our community.

With some exciting new projects launching soon to help feed more people in need, this is definitely a space to watch — stay tuned!

Gives back locally by sharing his time coaching a Cairns soccer club
Accredited food judge who has judged meals across the world

That’s a wrap on the Community Cart Christmas Hamper Project 🎄

This Christmas, Community Cart delivered over 120 food hampers, providing over $20,000 in essential food relief to individuals and families across Cairns & Townsville.

These hampers reached people experiencing a wide range of challenges — including families doing it tough, people impacted by domestic and family violence, homelessness, single-parent households, grandparents raising children, older community members on limited incomes, and people living with disability or mental health challenges.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible generosity of our sponsors, who believed in this project and helped turn an idea into real, practical support for our community. We are also deeply grateful to our volunteers and partner organisations who helped nominate, pack and distribute hampers with care and dignity.

A huge thank you to Kat in Townsville, and to Hans and Jenna in Cairns, for coordinating their regions and going above and beyond to make sure this project ran so smoothly.

Thank you to everyone who played a part — this is what community looks like.

We’re excited to officially launch Community Cart, a new Enabling Pathways Community initiative created to support individuals and families in our community experiencing genuine hardship.

To kick things off, we’re introducing our first program: Seasonal Hampers. These hampers will provide practical relief to people doing it tough as we head into the holiday season.

You can get involved by:
- Nominating someone in need
- Sponsoring a hamper as a local business

Christmas in July

We had a fantastic time bringing some mid-year festive cheer to our community! From laughs and shared stories to a few cheeky Christmas jumpers, the spirit of giving and connection was truly alive.

Mic is one of our amazing NDIS clients who’s always the first to roll up his sleeves and lend a hand at our events. From setting up stalls to greeting the community with a smile, Mic brings the heart and hustle every single time 💪💙

He’ll be back with us next Friday on the 26th July for our Christmas in July community event at Marlin Coast Bowls Club at 1200pm — and we’d love to see you there too!
