🏳️‍🌈 This research is part of the Rainbow Inclusive Aged Care Project, a 5-year national collaboration led by La Trobe University and partners including Southern Cross University, and us, QC. Together, we’re helping build a model of aged care that celebrates and supports gender and sexually diverse people in every stage of life.

🌟 Today, December 3rd, we proudly launch I Exist in Our Communities across our QC and 2Spirits sites in Queensland!

To mark the International Day of People with Disability (IDPWD), we’re hosting morning teas from 10am–12pm at all our locations to celebrate connection, visibility and shared learning.

This year’s IDPWD theme — “Fostering disability inclusive societies for advancing social progress” — reminds us that progress begins with listening to lived experience, challenging barriers, and ensuring everyone is included in our communities.
