More than 140 general practice nurses and staff have been provided with free cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training across North Queensland by Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (NQPHN).

As of today we have made the difficult decision to STOP bulk billing all patients and move to mixed billing.

We have put off doing this for as long as we could.

The cost of providing health care has been rising every year, this affected our rent, power bills, staff wages, insurance costs, technology costs, equipment, and the cost of PPE for the last 2 years etc, and yet the government has not increased your Medicare rebate. This means that being a bulk billing clinic is no longer sustainable. A list of our fees are located on our website.

If you are concerned about the rising costs of seeing a GP we encourage you to write to your local Federal MP to discuss how they propose to support patient access to quality and affordable General Practice.
