Kahuna Massage
The Hawaiian massage style incorporates long flowing strokes over the body. Practitioners use their hands, elbows and forearms as they glide around the table whilst using the sacred Hawaiian dance footsteps learnt in training to give a deeply soothing massage with rhythm and flow in the movements. It is shamanic bodywork and helps heal and clear the emotional, mental and physical bodies and can include sound healing through toning and guiding the client to journey deeply within through the practitioner’s rhythmic breathing. Hawaiian massage is luxurious and soulful, delivering a heartfelt touch with innocence and love. It can be firm and with strong pressure if that is what is desired and needed by the client. I am in the thick of my menopause journey and I feel the lightest in my being and most emotionally balanced I ever have in my life.

I have immersed in many wonderful healing pathways and the most profound for me has been somatic therapy. I respond so well to it and find it creates deep lasting change in my psyche and nervous system.

I used to experience regular bouts of anxiety and depression that felt debilitating inside and that made it feel extremely hard to achieve my goals in life. I kept falling into a core wound of feeling like I had no value. It led to navigating various relationships with narcissistic type people. With support these relationships taught me so much and I learnt to see and value myself.

I have not had this anxiety or depression for about 4 years. I know I am loved and love myself. I am creating many things that I have been yearning to.

I have always loved body-based therapies such as massage, embodiment practices and dance. They have the greatest impact on my being.

I am so grateful to be able to offer Women’s Somatic Psychotherapeutic Coaching and share the deep support that has changed my life so much.

Sessions are available in person in Cairns or on zoom. Zoom sessions are just as powerful. I receive my own regular sessions via zoom.

I am noticing women experience deep changes inside in the way they relate to themselves and the way they feel about themselves.

Some of the changes I am seeing lately include deep patterns of people pleasing shifting, instinctively orienting to ways of being and life changes that feel more aligned, that bring more peace and aliveness and a deep reclaiming of the true soul essence self.

We are coming up to the Sumptuous Womb Care module in Aphrodite's Love Potion. I have shared the Somatic Replenishment module first as, heart healing, self-love and tending to the nervous system are wonderful and powerful foundations for tending to the womb. That which affects our hearts can be reflected in the womb and her cycles. Not always, but sometimes.

It is also much easier to connect with body wisdom and messages, when we feel at ease inside.

Aphrodite’s Love Potion is a 12-week guided journey for women’s devotional selfcare and embodiment. Beginning September 1st.

There are 3 modules:
Somatic Replenishment, to ground and stabilise.
Sumptuous Womb Care, for deep womanly nourishment (for all ages including menopause).
Luxurious Embodiment, for growth and expansion.

I have created this course with my clients in my heart and mind. Women come for sessions to receive support, and I have so many ways to share that they can continue love and nourish themselves at home. So, I have created this online guide for you to immerse in at home.

I found in my own journey that receiving support has helped me so much and I also value and receive so much from the practices that I do at home. How I be with my self, how I nurture myself and guide myself is a foundational key for self-love and change.

My massage studio has moved!

Im now at 55 Moody st Mooroobool.

Chris and I have been converting a carport into a massage room (mostly Chris). It looks really nice now. He even made a barn door for the room.

In a few months, I'll have 2 rooms to rent out in the house for other practitioners. At the moment we are living here while our house gets raised at Grove st.
