We’re excited to be teaming up with and to offer a January School Holiday Therapeutic Social Group 🎉

For three days we’ll be running two groups- ‘Set for Prep’ and ‘Mighty Mates Club’.

In our supportive Caloundra playroom participants will have opportunities to build social skills, emotional regulation and interpersonal connections through playful, cooperative and nurturing activities.

In the messy middle of learning a new parenting skill? Here’s something not many people tell you...

I was recently listening to Dr Brenna Hicks podcast and she spoke about the four stages of change (but for therapists applying therapeutic skills)... as I listened, I couldn’t help but think how deeply relevant this is for parents and carers, too, especially when making intentional shifts in how they show up in their parenting.

Change doesn’t happen overnight.
It happens in small, repeated moments.
With patience, presence, and grace.

Because in play therapy, we don’t just welcome the soft, sweet stories—we make space for the powerful, messy, and sometimes aggressive ones too.

Handcuffs, villain masks, swords—these aren’t just toys. They’re tools for healing. They help children explore themes of power, control, justice, and fear in ways that feel safe and symbolic.
