Today we pause to honour the courage, sacrifice and service of all Australian and New Zealand service men and women — past and present.

This ANZAC Day, we also want to acknowledge the extraordinary contribution of health professionals in times of war and peace. From battlefield medics and military doctors working under unimaginable pressure, to nurses, allied health teams and support staff serving in humanitarian and peacekeeping missions — their skill, compassion and bravery save lives when it matters most.
