MLS Laser therapy may be the relief you have been searching for .
MLS (Multiwave Locked System) laser therapy may be used for sinus treatment applying the laser externally over the forehead and cheeks to target the frontal and maxillary sinus. MLS works by reducing inflammation, promoting cellular healing, and improving circulation to relieve symptoms like pain and swelling.

MLS laser has been a great introduction to the clinic over the past 2 years. Patients are enjoying the benefits of having it used on them for a wide range of conditions.
MLS Laser therapy may be helpful for a variety of conditions, particularly those involving pain, inflammation, and musculoskeletal issues. It's often used for conditions like arthritis, sports injuries, tendinitis and nerve pain. Recently Dr Scott has been using it to assist with stomach pain and constipation.

Tongue Tie
We often get asked about tongue ties. A Tongue-tie (also called ankyloglossia) is a condition present at birth where a strip of tissue (lingual frenulum) connecting the tongue to the floor of the mouth is either thicker, tighter or shorter than usual. This may affect a baby's ability to move their tongue freely, potentially impacting feeding, speech development, and oral function.
Signs and Symptoms of Tongue-Tie in Babies
Some babies with tongue-tie have no issues, while others may experience:
Breastfeeding Challenges:
• Difficulty latching onto the breast properly
• Frequent slipping off the ni**le while feeding
• Clicking sounds while sucking
• Long or inefficient feeding sessions
• Fussiness during or after feeds
• Poor weight gain due to ineffective feeding
Other Signs in Babies:
• Limited tongue movement (e.g., difficulty sticking out tongue or lifting it to the roof of the mouth)
• A heart-shaped or notched tongue when sticking it out
• Difficulty swallowing or excessive dribbling
Signs in Mothers (Due to Poor Latch):
• Ni**le pain, soreness, or damage
• Engorgement or blocked ducts due to ineffective milk removal
• Low milk supply
How is Tongue-Tie Diagnosed?
A tongue tie is diagnosed by a combination of inspection, palpation and oral function assessment.
