Public tantrums can be the worst.
Your child starts to get louder, you feel more and more frustrated and embarrassed, and it all spirals from there.
When we're out in public or in a hurry to get somewhere, it can sometimes be too hard to give them the support they need in that moment.
What can make these moments even harder is the judgemental looks or comments from people nearby.
Next time you see a parent facing a public tantrum, give them an understanding smile, a word of encouragement or help if they need it.
Tantrums are not a reflection on the parent and their ability to "control" their child, they are a reflection of the child's overwhelming emotions in that moment.
Let's support each other in this challenging role of raising the next generation.
