White Space Yoga is a beautiful boutique yoga studio in the heart of Camberwell. Susan is a qualified naturopath & both are devoted yoga
practitioners.

Classes at White Space Yoga Studio incorporate sequences & poses from the Hatha, Vinyasa Power Flow & Ashtanga yoga traditions. Conducted in a boutique studio, beginners, intermediate & advanced students can practice together to achieve the benefits of yoga. At White Space Yoga you will be instructed by Susan Mitchell & Clare Monahan – a mother & daughter team who are passionate about yoga & its benefits.

India! You delighted us, nurtured us, challenged us, and held us, in our Dance of the Deities Yoga retreat in the homeland of yoga,Rishikesh. But as always… the practice taught us.

We came to Rishikesh as seekers.
We leave as dancers. The dancer is the dance.

For days, we moved with the gods and goddesses.

The Dance of the Deities wasn’t something we learned.
It was something we remembered—
in our bodies, our practice, our laughter, our silence.

Thank you to this sacred land,to the ancient river Ganges and the Himalayan mountains, and to each soul who showed up with courage, devotion, and curiosity.

As 2024 comes to a close, let’s take a moment to reflect on the incredible power of consistency—especially through our yoga practice. 🧘‍♀️💫
This year, showing up on the mat wasn’t just about perfecting poses. It was about:

✨ Breathwork & Pranayama: Cultivating calm and clarity with every inhale and exhale.

That’s a wrap for our annual Hydra Yoga Retreat. 🙏🏼🧘

The history and beauty of the island is captivating and intoxicating! The energy of this island is felt in the body, the mind and the consciousness. It probably explains why so many of our yogis return to the Hydra retreat year after year!

A fabulous group of yogis who welcomed the early start to watch the spectacular sunrise. We meditated on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea. And followed by early morning swim and 2 hours of yoga.

A week of connecting, laughing, exploring ourselves (and Hydra) eating Greek food, watching sunset, swimming and retreating from the day to day life back in Oz.

All this and more under a Greek sun 🌞clear blue water and no traffic! (Just donkeys)
