Based in South Western Sydney I am a passionate Counsellor driven to help individuals, couples and families with issues such as relationship breakdown, separation, parenting, divorce, grief and loss, self-esteem, depression, anxiety and suicidal ideation. I provide a safe and calming environment to help clients feel comfortable enough to work through the underlying issues that may overwhelm them in day to day life. With the use of techniques such as Imago Therapy, Family Systems, Mindfulness, Art and Walk and Talk Therapy I help clients feel more empowered in their life. I strongly believe that people sometimes need support when life may seem off-kilter and by learning ways to change attitudes and habits, acquiring tools and strategies, there is the possibility for change, healing and personal growth. The Esafety website has everything you need to know about the social media ban for Under 16s. It also has resources on how to help kids and families transition through this.

Short term pain will be long term gains for the next generation. It is not a ban but a postponement so the kids can have time to grow up with less pressure and have space to be bored. Being bored encourages creativity, patience and rest. 🌳

Parents - you got this, dont drop the ball. Reach out if it is difficult or overwhelming.🙂
Kids - it’s not forever, you can do this. 🙂
