Taking your kid to an Autism assessment?
Let them know what’s going on.

It’s not a scary thing figuring out what kind of brain you have.
And it makes a lot of sense to do it.
How else would you know how to take care of it?

Start the conversation on the right foot.

Being Autistic is fine.

Loving all of the year 12 graduation photos. Especially graduating clients of ours. And to see one of them, who started his school journey in a support unit, go on and not only complete year 12 in a mainstream school, but also score a university offer 💙 Proud is an understatement!

I hear this a lot.

A neurodivergent kid is doing well with supports and accommodations in place. So they get removed?

Nope.

That kid is able to do well because they are supported.

Don’t be taking that support away.

This game has been a hit with our older primary school aged kids. The idea is to light up the rockets with a laser beam whilst navigating graded challenges. Working on visual perception, fine motor, problem solving, and executive functioning.

Taking a multi sensory approach to letter formation can help the learning process. Today we used tactile, visual and auditory methods. Dry coloured rice was a favourite!
