Days like this
Today I went to the beach with someone very close to me.
The water was perfect. The sun gentle. Salt in our hair. And the conversation had no off button.
We spoke about life. The quiet fears we carry. The dreams we do not always say out loud. The parts of ourselves we are still figuring out. There was no fixing. No competing stories. No subtle judgement disguised as advice. Just space.
At one point I shared something I had only ever really thought about. It just came out. And it was received with softness. No redirect. No making it about them. Just listening.
On the drive home I felt this deep sense of gratitude. Because that kind of connection is rare. The kind where you feel safe to be raw. Where you can laugh one minute and be vulnerable the next. Where you do not have to shrink or perform to belong.
And this week, I have seen little moments of that in the studio too.
Women lingering after class. Conversations on mats. Tears mid sentence. Laughter that fills the room.
No gossip. No blame. No masks. Just genuine connection.
It feels like we are all craving this right now.
To be seen. To be heard. To simply be.
Maybe today is your reminder to nurture the relationships that feel like home.
To become that space for someone else. And to seek out communities where you do not have to harden yourself to belong.
Because connection like that changes everything 🤍
