Tonight the sky performs one of her rare rituals 🌕🔥
A Total Lunar Eclipse is rising on March 3, 2026. Our beautiful Full Moon, traditionally known as the Worm Moon, will slip into the Earth’s shadow and emerge cloaked in deep red and copper tones. A true Blood Moon. And not just any eclipse… this is the only total lunar eclipse visible in 2026 and the last one we will see for three years.
For us here in Australia, peak totality will unfold in the evening sky, while the Americas greet it in their early morning hours. For 58 powerful minutes, the Moon will glow like an ember in the night.
Why “Worm Moon”? This name comes from Native American seasonal traditions, marking the time when the earth begins to soften and stir after winter. The ground awakens. Life begins to wriggle and rise again. Fitting, isn’t it? Because eclipses do the same within us. They shake loose what has been frozen. They reveal what has been hidden.
Energetically, a lunar eclipse is a full moon on steroids. It amplifies endings, revelations, and emotional truths. Think of it as the Universe holding up a mirror and saying, “Ready to release that now?” 🌑
✨ What’s happening tonight
If you’re local, step outside and simply look up. No telescope needed. No special glasses. Just your presence. Let the Moon bathe you in her red glow.
You might like to:
• Journal on what you are ready to let go of
• Light a candle and consciously release an old pattern
• Sit in meditation and ask, “What is being eclipsed in me?”
• Or simply stand barefoot on the earth and breathe
This Blood Moon is a reminder that even when we are in shadow, we are still luminous. The light never leaves. It only changes costume.
Whatever you are doing tonight, expect the energy to feel heightened, potent, a little electric. Eclipse nights are not for playing small. They are for clearing, claiming, and stepping forward.
Look up. Let it move you.
The sky is speaking 🔴✨
