Building strength is important…but building rapport is just as powerful. 💚

Between sets, we take breaks doing what our clients enjoy — whether that’s Nintendo Switch battles, Rubik’s Cage, junior beanbag toss, or even reading Manga. These moments help regulate emotions, build trust, and make movement feel fun and safe.

On Friday, David learned how to plank! I was SO proud on how quickly he executed the feedback I gave him 💪

Building core strength helps with more than just fitness — it supports posture, coordination, and body awareness.

A strong core means feeling more stable, confident, and in control of movement — whether it’s sitting upright, walking, or joining in sport 🧩

Puzzles progress 📈 Well done to our client, Spencer who recently achieved the massive milestone of a body weight bench press and a +7.5kg PB. This strength gain has directly carried over to his shot put — helping him generate more power and distance in each throw 💥

💡 Understanding Low Muscle Tone (Hypotonia)

Low muscle tone means the muscles feel soft or floppy and lack natural tension at rest. It’s not the same as weakness — but it can make movements slower, less controlled, and more tiring.

People with low tone often need extra effort for posture, coordination, and daily activities like sitting upright, writing, or playing sport.

Physiotherapy helps by:
