Yesterday our Occupational Therapists provided supportive equipment to our disabled/injured clients. Its an OT's job to clinically justify, trial and demonstrate equipment in ensuring its safe and effective use. We enjoy being thorough and supportive of our clients who had a BIG SMILE on their faces. This is why we love what we do!!

Services included:
- Wheelchair scripting
- Scooter assessment
- Bed and recliner prescription
- Lifter training and manual handling
- Complex seating assessments

A big thanks to Medimart who provide fantastic service!

Our dynamic duo ~ Team Administrators Beth & Anne, always ensure our office and bookings run smoothly, support the behind the scenes for our consultants… and that the team is well fed!

Today Bethany spoilt team members to her delicious bagels, and they tasted even better than they looked. Thank you Bethie ☺️

PIEF Conference 2021 ☀️

Earlier this week both Dean and Holly tuned into the virtual Personal Injury and Disability Management National Conference.

The focus of the conference this year was Connect, Discover, Evolve.

The program was filled with inspiring and passionate leaders sharing their insights on working in motor accident, workers’ compensation, disability and life insurance sectors.

💪🏾Technique Tuesday 🦵🏻⁠

Everyone loves training legs, so why not add some lunges into your workout routine.⁠
⁠
The lunge is a great functional exercise that works multiple muscle groups at one time, ensure you are performing this exercise correctly by:⁠
⁠
1) Start by standing tall and upright⁠
2) Take a step forward with one foot, and allow that front foot to slowly bend and lower allowing the leg to reach 90 degrees⁠
3) Return to the starting position by pushing up on the front leg returning to the starting position⁠
⁠
This exercise doesn’t need to be completed with heavy weights and can be undertaken with just bodyweight, give this a try next time you workout
