headspace Camperdown offers support and information for young people aged 12-25 who have general hea Services are no/low cost with Medicare.

We are not a 24/7 service, if you would like to talk to someone after hours to help you can call these 24/7 services:

What do we offer? Looking for someone to talk to? If you're 12-25, you can get health advice, support and information from headspace. With centres all around Australia, headspace can help you with:
- General health
- Mental health and counselling
- Education, employment and other services
- Alcohol and other drug services. We're here for you if you:

- are feeling down, stressed or can't stop worrying
- haven't felt like yourself for a long time
- can't deal with school or finding it difficult to concentrate• are feeling sick or -- worried about your health
- want to cut down on your drinking or drug use
- want to talk about sexuality, identity or relationships
- are having difficulties with friendships
- have sexual health issues or want to find out about contraception
- are being bullied, hurt or harassed
- are worried about work or study or if you're having money trouble
- headspace is a place you can go to talk to someone about any of these issues. Access:

- Accessible/unisex toilets
- Braille sign
- If you have any specific accessibility needs, please let us know prior to your first appointment at headspace Camperdown so we can be aware of how to best assist. Public transport:

We recommend getting here via public transport as street parking is limited. By bus: There is a convenient stop on Parramatta Rd near the corner of Mallett Street. By train: Newtown is the closest train station. It is about a 15–20-minute walk. Plan your trip here: transportnsw.info/trip/

Limited 2hr street parking is available on Church Street and in the surrounding streets.

Our active group program for young people kicks off next Monday 10 Nov (4PM @ headspace ) and runs for 5 weeks as we come to the end of the year !!

Supporting a young person through their mental health journey? You don't have to navigate it alone.

eheadspace now offers appointment requests for family, parents, carers, Elders, educators or other adults.
You can choose the support option that works best for you:
🩺 Clinician - Professional mental health expertise
👥 Peer Worker - A person who’s walked a similar path and is here to support you.

Family can now request a one- one session for themselves to connect directly with a Peer Worker. Peer Workers bring their lived experience of supporting young people through mental health challenges. They understand what it’s like and they’re here to offer support, understanding, and are here to help.

Appointments run for 30-45m, are entirely free and you don’t need a referral. You can also select from a phone or webchat appointment.
