Kitchen Hand- Casual
Sunnyside House is a warm and welcoming residential aged care facility dedicated to providing high-quality care in a respectful and homely environment. We're currently looking for a reliable, flexible and enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to join our team on a casual basis.
About the Role:
As a Cleaner/Kitchen Hand , you'll play an important role in assisting with simple meal preparation, service and dishes. There is currently no minimum hours available.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting with simple meal preparation, meal service and post meal clean up
• Ensuring catering and infection control and safety standards are met
• Supporting a team environment with a positive and respectful attitude
About You:
• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen (appreciated but not essential)
• Good communication and time management skills
• A friendly and caring nature, with a genuine interest in working with older people
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends as needed
• Current police clearance or willingness to obtain one
