Today on ANZAC Day we pause to honor the service and sacrifice of the people who have served Australia and New Zealand.
We acknowledge their courage, their commitment to community, and the values they upheld and continue to uphold.
Endurance
Courage
Ingenuity
Good humor
Mate ship
These values are drawn from Charles Bean’s descriptions of the soldiers at Gallipoli and on the Western Front, and they’ve become the foundation of how Australia and New Zealand commemorate ANZAC Day.
At AUA we carry these values forward - supporting one another, showing kindness, adapting, problem‑solving, celebrating different abilities, trying new skills, persisting, showing up and giving our best.
Lest we forget
