Private Practice Music Therapy Sessions that come to you. The Therapy Burrow works with you to organise convenient music therapy sessions, individual and group sessions available. Session times can be 30minutes, 45minutes and 1 hour. Each session are individualised for every client, targeting specific needs and goals. Jo Barrow is a Registered Music Therapist based in Canberra. She specialises in Autism Spectrum Disorder and children with a disability. She also has experience working in aged care, dementia, adult mental health and developmental delays. Jo graduated from JMC academy in 2015 with a bachelors of Music and Contemporary Performance, and from Western Sydney University in 2017 with a Masters in Creative Music Therapy. Believing in a person-centred approach, Jo enjoys getting to the know the personalities, interests and passions of clients to develop individualised musical interventions to enhance overall wellbeing.

I felt truly humbled to attend the ACT Allied Health Excellence Awards last night, especially having been nominated for ACT Allied Health Excellence for Consumer Recognition.

Thank you to those who nominated me - it's an incredible honour to be recognized for doing what I love and what I'm most passionate about.
The Consumer Recognition category is particularly meaningful as my work relies on the trust and relationships built with clients. I am so fortunate to be a part of your support teams.

The event brought together some amazing Allied Health professionals, making for an unforgettable night.
