🚴🏃🏼‍♀️🏊🏻‍♀️Hawks Nest - Tri #2 done 👌

Spending the morning mentally preparing and internally stressing about swimming 750m in rough surf only to have the swim leg cancelled reminded me that we can not predict the future.

Mental preparation is key but trusting the process and journey is vital too. Keen for the Husky Tri in Feb to conquer the swim leg!!

Super grateful for friends who support, compete with and cheer us on!

🍲Do yourself a favour and head up to in Casey for the most amazing food and friendly service. Hands down my favourite restaurant in Canberra and worth the drive from wherever you live.

🤤Be prepared that the kids will love it too and you will have to share or order them their own serve!

Divine food, family owned, beautiful service! 🥰

“Here’s to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.” 💪🏼

🏕️Last night began my journey with my daughter into solo hiking and camping trips. Something we both love doing and sharing with our family, but taking our adventures a little further.

⛰️I’ve always been a hiker and camper, but I’ve always done so with a friend or a partner, never on my own. With everyone leading busy lives I finally decided if I want to get back into the world of overnight hikes, why not take my daughter and support her interest in the adventure as well. Plus it’s nice to have the company 🥰

🌅Last night was cold and rainy but building her resilience and commitment was well worth it. Loved every minute 🥰
