The Grammar Physio was an initiative first started in 2016 to provide easy, accessible and onsite physiotherapy services at the Canberra Grammar School Health Clinic. Initially, the clinic opened to service the boarding school students of CGS, but has extended to day-students and existing staff of the CGS community; including physio consults before, during and after school, and during weekend sport.
The Grammar Physio begun after Director, Alex Stuart re-joined the CGS as an alumni, returning to support the opens rugby program and accompanying their rugby tours to Japan. Alex worked closely with the CGS rugby program looking after the opens rugby season and the gala game days on weekends.
3 years following the clinic’s establishment, Alex has relocated to Victoria and has brought on two highly experienced physiotherapists working throughout the school terms. During operating hours, if they aren’t busy treating up in the CGS Health Clinic, Djorge and Alex can also be found in the Health Centre Gym conducting rehab for staff and students. They may be seen rehabilitating an injury, conducting a running assessment, or working on strength and conditioning for staff and students to get them fit and functional in preparation for the sport and activity season ahead. Our goal is to provide quality and convenience, to make peoples health better, and lives easier.
Consults can be booked online or by contacting one of our team. They are conducted at the school onsite up in the clinic or gym. Post-paid options including electronic invoicing available.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
