EVENT STAFF OPPORTUNITIES

Blackhawk Logistics — the ACT’s leading provider of event security is expanding our team ahead of a major season of high-profile events. We are seeking 10–15 experienced Event Security Officers to join our operations across Canberra.

We’re looking for people with strong, proven experience in ACT events, excellent customer service skills, and the capability to step into supervisory roles when required. You must be adaptable, professional, and comfortable working across multiple venues and event sites, with shifts available 7 days a week.

Requirements (Mandatory)

- Current ACT Security Licence 1A/1C
- Current NSW Security Licence (is an advantage)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current RSA Certificate (Crowd Control White Card)

What We’re Looking For

- Solid background in ACT event security
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lead or supervise when directed
- Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work within a team
- Flexibility to work across various venues and event types

Full-Time Mobile Patrol Officer

We deliver comprehensive security solutions across Static Guarding, Mobile Patrols, Cash-in-Transit, Event Security, Government Escorting, and full Technical Services. With Blackhawk, clients get a genuine one-stop security partner trusted across government and private sectors.

We are now seeking a dedicated and motivated Full-Time Mobile Patrol Officer to join our growing team.

About the Role

This position is responsible for maintaining a strong patrol presence across our client sites while remaining alert, proactive, and ready to respond. You’ll be working a 6.30pm–6.30am rotating 2-week roster (Monday–Sunday), including weekends and public holidays where required.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver professional and courteous customer service at all times
- Maintain vigilance and actively deter incidents
- Respond to alarms and incidents, completing accurate written reports
- Work effectively with management, clients, and emergency services
- Operate independently and adapt to changing environments

What We’re Looking For

A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Strong customer-service mindset
Ability to work unsupervised and remain focused
Reliable, well-presented, and committed to professional standards

Mandatory Requirements

- Current ACT Security Licence (1A & 1C)
- Current ACT Driver’s Licence (or equivalent)
- Current RSA certification
- Current First Aid Certificate – Level 2
