I have this video saved in my INSPIRATION playlist. Take a moment to read the post and see why....š©·
WHY DO I LOVE THIS POWERFUL VIDEO SO MUCH?
First watch the video (itās ok to shed a tear) then read the postā¦maybe rewatch the video...
This piece from Swan Lake is a powerful ANCHOR for her. It brings back cherished memories and strong emotions. At the end of the video she remarks āIt excites me!ā ā¤ļøāš„
For 2 minutes she was transported back to her ballerina days, not just in her mind but in her WHOLE BODYā¦.and everything changes.
In an instant, recognition floods her. Her breath catches. Her spine lengthens. Her chest opens. She lifts her eyes. Her arms begin to move ā they float, slow, fluid, precise. The grace and muscle memory of decades past return as if TIME ITSELF DISSOLVES.
Every joint remembers. Every cell awakens.
You can SEE her come alive again ā eyes lifted, shoulders strong, completely transformed by a piece of music she once EMBODIED.
Itās breathtaking.
And itās a reminder of how powerful we truly are.
How magnificent our bodies and minds are.
And itās the perfect example of how our bodies REMEMBER everything.
And that everything we need is already inside us.
Even if the memory is stored deep down, the body keeps the score. The posture. The rhythm. The essence. Itās all still there, waiting to be REAWAKENED
That song was her anchor ā a trigger connected to deep emotion, mastery, and presence.
And hereās the truth, WE ALL HAVE ANCHORS LIKE THAT.
šMost of us just live at the mercy of the negative ones š¤.......š„
Yet we have the power to shift the focus and choose the positive anchors ā the ones that pull us back into confidence, passion, joy, excitement, power.
And that is why I love this video and why I love what I do.
Because if her body could remember how to dance in that moment⦠imagine what yours could remember.
