Registered Nurse - Radiology
Canberra Imaging Group (CIG) is currently seeking a dynamic RN to join our small team of dedicated Nurses. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, with a desire to exceed client expectations and a strong sense of responsibility.

CIG provides comprehensive medical imaging services, including Digital X-ray, Interventional services, 3D Mammography, CT, MRI, US, Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT.

Successful applicant must be vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencing work, unless medically contraindicated, as per ACT Public Health (Health Care and Support Workers COVID-19 Vaccination) Emergency Direction 2021, as well as NSW Public Health (COVID 19 Vaccination of Health Care Workers) Order 2021.

The Role
You will assist the medical imaging team in providing a wide variety of diagnostic and interventional radiology services from our Deakin and Bruce locations. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting Radiologists, Radiographers, Sonographers, and Nuclear Medicine Technologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Pre and post procedural patient preparation and care
- Care of hospital inpatients whilst in the Radiology department
- Scrub, scout, and recovery responsibilities in our Angiography and Interventional Suite (training will be provided if inexperienced)

Above-award rates of pay commensurate with skills and experience.

No shift work required.

Skills and Experience
Must be self-motivated and flexible, with ability to problem solve on the go.
Radiology experience desirable, however, not necessarily required. Training in Radiology specific skills will be provided.

Eligibility Criteria:
- AHPRA Nursing Board registration (unconditional)

Office Manager

About Us
Canberra Imaging Group (CIG) provides high quality comprehensive diagnostic imaging services as the largest provider in the ACT and surrounding NSW region. CIG recently joined the Sonic Imaging family, further solidifying our place as a provider of premium imaging services.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Office Manager to join our caring team of professionals on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be managing the administration staff and overseeing administration workflows and processes at our Wanniassa (Erindale) site. This position is for a fixed term of 12 months.

The successful candidate must be vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencing work, unless medically contraindicated, as per ACT Public Health (Health Care and Support Workers COVID-19 Vaccination) Emergency Direction 2021, as well as NSW Public Health (COVID 19 Vaccination of Health Care Workers) Order (No 2) 2021.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Manager Administration, and working closely with the Site Manager, the successful candidate will join a strong and cohesive team of Office Managers. Responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:
- daily management of the front office administration and management of administration staff on site
- monitoring of appointments and schedules to maximise service availability and efficiency
- fostering an environment that encourages the provision of a high-quality service with strong customer focus
- fostering and encouraging communications between administration staff, health professionals and external stakeholders
- ensuring a safe, healthy, and enjoyable workplace for patients, staff and visitors
- monitoring key administration areas inclusive of registration, billing and COVID screening compliance

About you
We are looking for a candidate who:
- has a genuine interest and experience in leading, managing and developing team members
- prides themselves on delivering exceptional customer service and patient care
- has empathy and compassion towards patient and referring practitioner needs
- has a good understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule and rule interpretation
- has strong communication and interpersonal skills
- has the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- has a well-developed understanding of medical terminology
- has experience with Radiology Information Systems (highly regarded)

Our Story

The Canberra Imaging Group is one of the longest established medical imaging practices in Canberra and surrounding NSW.

The group was formed in the 1950s through a merger of a number of smaller local radiology practices and it has operated continuously since then to provide vital health and medical services to generations of Canberra and NSW families. The most recent merger with an independent practice occurred in October 1998.

The Canberra Imaging Group is fully owned by radiologists and nuclear medicine physicians who work in the practice and are long established in the local community.
