Most people don’t realise how much their breathing can affect their lower back pain.

➡️ Did you know that your “core” isn’t actually your abs, or what people call the “six pack.”

Your core is made up of:
• Your diaphragm
• Your multifidus (deep spine stabilisers)
• Your transverse abdominis (deep abdominal layer)
• Your pelvic floor muscles

These muscles work together like a team. When one is tight, weak, or not coordinating well, the whole system feels it, often showing up as back pain, breathing issues, or tension through the hips.

Treatment that works through the ribs, diaphragm, and low back can make a huge difference, not just for pain, but for easier, smoother breathing too.

If sleep’s been a bit of a struggle, magnesium can genuinely help.

Magnesium helps with sleep because it’s involved in the pathway that controls melatonin, the hormone that tells your brain it’s time to wind down. It also helps keep cortisol in check.

More magnesium = better melatonin signalling, calmer cortisol levels, and an easier time actually switching off.

December asks a lot from us. If you notice your shoulders creeping up, your jaw clenching, or your sleep going out of rhythm, that’s your body asking for support, not more pressure. Care isn’t a luxury, it’s how your body keeps going.
