After 6-8 weeks of living free and running around in sandals, thongs and even barefoot, getting back or introduced to school life can be troubling. Carrying heavy backpacks and wearing enclosed shoes 6 hours a day can be a huge adjustment.

It is normal for a child to come home and complain about tired and achy feet and legs but after about a month they should have settled into the new routine and the aching should have stopped. If it continues it is possible that they be experiencing growing pains or there may be other underlying issues that are causing the pain such as:
- Knocked knees.
- Flat Feet.
- Muscle tightness.
- Severs disease.
If concerned call our friendly staff for more information on 62851155 or book an appointment with one of our knowledgeable podiatrists.

Winter is here and the ski fields have received another top up!

Avid skiers, Ben and Andrea were very happy to try out the Ski-Mojo device on a trip to Thredbo.

Ski-Mojo is a device that aims to reduce pain and fatigue in your knees and legs, keeping you on the slopes for longer by assisting in supporting body weight and increasing shock absorption.

Check out Ski-Mojo here:
