Scout Fellowship ACT

Scout Fellowship ACT Giving back to the A.C.T Scouting community

The purpose of Scout Fellowship is to provide service to the Scout Association in the Australian Capital Territory and the community in general and to provide the mutual fellowship of the members

04/08/2018

Fellowship have been very quiet over the last 6 months or so. We attended The ANZAC Day National March , assisting with marshaling duties, we have been involved with Gang Show, with members helping out on Front of House and Wardrobe and we have kept the former Kambah Scout Group Hall chugging along with regular hires and some essential repairs.

25/02/2017

So our next meeting is 28 March, 7:30pm at our new home, Kambah Scout Hall, Springbett St in Kambah. The month after will be ANZAC Day. Traditionally, Fellowship have had a Breakfast for those who have attended Dawn Service and those who will be going on to marshalling duties at the National March and a brief meeting.

An open invite to all Scouting and Guiding members to come and share breakfast with Fellowship.

Just back from an intimate little gathering to celebrate Founders Day - we had a group of about 10 scouting people - Joey, Scout, Leaders, Fellowship members, Branch Commissioner and former ACT Chief Commissioner. Some positive vibes from all invited. We will do it again.

Congratulations to all the recipients of Adult Recognition Awards including our Chair, Chris Clark, Silver Koala.

Big thanks to the 'hundreds' (I think there were several hundred!) members from Scouting and Guiding who turned up to the National March, whether you were handing out rosemary, holding contingent placards, assisting marchers to find their contingent location or the myriad other little jobs that got done, a big thank you from Taz and myself for your assistance. Give yourselves a big BRAVO or your appropriate section 'well done'. Congrats to all on your uniforms, this is the first march in a long time where all our banner bearers, marshalls and other helpers have presented with such a consistent appearance. We have set the standard. No photos yet, but I'm sure they will surface.

22/04/2015

Fellowship1 will be participating in the Dawn Service and marshaling the contingents and banner bearers for the National March. Photos will follow.

Read about Chris Bates, our next Chief Commissioner and his vision for Scouting in Australia. I thought this would nice for us to read up on our next Chief Commissioner for Scout Australia.
