Busy Bodies Vs Telehealth? We have found that children, even the most wriggly and active, can engage in Telehealth sessions. We use movement breaks, activities incorporating the child’s environment, their interests, visual schedules, interactive games and screen sharing, as well as intrinsic and extrinsic rewards to keep children engaged.
For very young children (such as toddlers), we use parent-led intervention, meaning that you will be learning how to enhance communication development with your child at home.
Research has shown that parent-led intervention may be more beneficial than
clinician-led intervention. This makes sense, as parents and carers are the main communication partners for their young children.
