and bending in the garden…well, inevitable pain!

But when we relearn to move the way we are meant to (the way all young kids around the world do, and the way our ancestors did)...

any position can be comfortable.

Even for extended periods.

We often tell our students that if they master the art of bending properly, they can avoid back problems altogether. On the flip side, poor bending techniques can lead to a host of back issues. It's really that simple! While there are certainly other important techniques to learn, bending is a fundamental technique that we place a lot of emphasis on in the Gokhale Method.
