We recently attended New Beginnings: Celebrating Australia, joining community members and organisations for a warm and thoughtful evening of connection. 💙🧡

The night featured a Welcome to Country, storytelling, panel conversations, music and a shared dinner, creating space to listen, reflect and learn from First Nations culture and the many diverse voices within our community.

Today we were at Kooringal Kicks & Tricks! Even with the heat meaning we had to shift indoors, the energy never dropped. The turnout was deadly and the smiles on our young people said it all.

We ran a Relax-Station, a beautiful space with mindful potting, calm moments, and a chance for young people to reset. Like sunflowers, our kids grow towards the light when they’re surrounded by love, safety and community. 🌻💛

Today we pause to mourn, reflect and pay respects to the lives lost and those impacted in the Bondi Beach terrorist attack in December.

The theme chosen by the local Jewish Community, Chabad for today is ✨Light will win, a gathering of unity and remembrance ✨

We're encouraging our community to take some time today for a Mitzvah. In Jewish tradition, a Mitzvah is a practical act of kindness and compassion to bring light in moments of darkness 🩷

Today, Gunners Place partners visited the new ACT Government–built Gungahlin Youth and Community Centre, the future home of Gunners Place, due to be ready in 2026.

It was great to see the progress of the build and reflect on the role our team has played in shaping the space. CEO Steph and Community Engagement Officer Rette joined the walkthrough, marking an exciting step towards a permanent home for Gunners Place. 💙
