I just returned from a beautiful 3-day Reiki retreat with The Reiki Association of Western Australia.
For three days, we gave and received Reiki, creating a circle of pure connection, healing, and flow.

We shared nourishing, delicious meals made with love by the participants — every dish infused with the same energy of care and gratitude we brought to our practice. 🍲💫
There was sound healing that vibrated through every cell, a morning Qigong session to awaken our life force, and even a wonderful talk on Feng Shui — a reminder that the spaces we live in carry energy, too. 🌬️🏠
This retreat was more than a weekend away; it was a reset. A deep exhale. A reminder that healing happens when we open our hearts to give and receive in equal measure.
Feeling grounded, grateful, and inspired to keep flowing with Reiki energy. 🙏✨

I’ll never forget my first time receiving Reiki.
I was in my mid 20’s and in a highly stressful job working for an airline.
I think it was my mum who suggested I go and gave me the details of a reiki healer she knew about.
When I walked in he commented on the stress I was carrying. I can’t remember the exact words but it was something like ‘why is someone your age carrying so much stress?’ I shrugged 🤷🏻‍♀️
I laid on the table and he started giving Reiki to me. I’m not sure where the time went but before long the session was over and he told me to take care and drive safely home.
I felt like I was walking on clouds. All the stress in my body had melted away.
It was something I never forgot and led me to learn the art myself several years later at a turning point in my life.

Do you struggle to love yourself?

Before I had reiki in my life I really struggled to love myself, I don’t even think I liked myself.

But through reiki I’m am learning to love myself. Reiki is showing me I am important, I am worthy and I am valid. People not showing up for me or letting me down is a reflection of them, not me.

I am so grateful for Reiki.

This morning I had to go to Fiona Stanley Hospital.

It is the first time since my dad passed away there 18months ago that I have been.

The volunteer who stood forward to help direct me where I had to go had the same name as my dad.

Grief can hit you unexpectedly.

As I sat in the waiting room I put my hands on myself and gave myself reiki to help balance and calm myself, and that feeling of unexpected tears dissolved.

Reiki can help you too with navigating grief 😢
