Spring forward with these daylight saving tips:

Since you can't escape it (unless you move to another state or territory), here are some handy tips from the Sleep Health Foundation to help you and your family cope with daylight saving — and get a good night's sleep.

- Have a healthy breakfast in a well-lit room to expose yourself to sunlight, as early as you can. This should help reset your body's internal clock.

- If you can, in the morning spend some time outside in the sunlight. Better still, exercise outdoors in the morning.

- Aim for at least 7 hours' sleep each night — more if you are aged under 20.

- Limit how much coffee or other caffeinated drinks you drink in the evening.

- Put your mobile phone or tablet away at least an hour before bed.

Hay fever, or allergic rhinitis, is characterised by sneezing, running nose, swelling of the sinus mucosa, itching of the eyes and lots of tears.

Hay fever is the common term for allergic rhinitis due to the seasonal spread of pollens in the air. The disease, however, is not only seasonal and may result from exposure to antigens other than pollen.

BowelScreen Australia is a Bowel Cancer Australia initiative to make medically recommended faecal immunochemical tests (FIT) easily accessible to Australians any time of the year.

Screening for bowel cancer involves a test for people who do not have any obvious symptoms of the disease. The aim is to find polyps or cancer early when it is easier to treat and cure. Screening is recommended every 1 to 2 years for people aged 50 and over with no symptoms or personal / family history of bowel cancer or polyps.

In Telfast’s previous packaging there were different colours used on each pack according to the product’s strength.

In the new purple packs these colours haven’t changed, so if you previously used Telfast in the white and green box, you can easily find the same formula now, by looking for the purple and green box.
