Capital Supports cover larger, often one-off items that help improve independence over the long term.
This can include assistive technology such as wheelchairs or specialised equipment, as well as home modifications like ramps, rails or bathroom changes. These supports usually require approval and must be used exactly as outlined in your plan.

Capacity-Building Supports are the part of your NDIS plan that help you with everyday life.
This funding can support daily activities like cooking, cleaning and personal care, help you get out into the community, cover transport to work or activities, and provide everyday items related to your disability. After her own family experiences with disability, our founder and director Alexandra Shaw established Disability Plan Services as a way of helping others in the community who are on the same journey.
