Setting Goals with Your NDIS Plan ✨

Your NDIS plan is built around the goals you set, so getting them right is key to making the most of your funding.

Your goals can be short-term (like building confidence to join a social group this year) or long-term (like studying at uni or living more independently). Every dollar of your funding is linked to these goals, which is why it’s important to be clear and specific.

A great way to set goals is to follow the SMART method:
✅ Specific – be precise about what you want to achieve
✅ Measurable – track your progress
✅ Achievable – realistic steps you can reach
✅ Relevant – aligned to your needs and aspirations
✅ Time-bound – set a target date (e.g., within 12 months)

Remember, your short-term goals are the stepping stones to your bigger dreams.

As an NDIS participant, you have choice and control over how your plan is managed:

✨ Agency-managed – NDIA manages your funds, but you’re limited to registered providers.

✨ Self-managed – full control, but you handle invoices, records, and admin yourself.

✨ Plan-managed – a registered Plan Manager (like us!) takes care of the bills, record-keeping, and budgeting, at no extra cost to you.

👉 With Plan Management, you stay in control of your supports without the stress of paperwork. We pay providers on your behalf, keep track of your budget, and provide advice to help you make the most of your funding.

Starting your NDIS journey can feel overwhelming, but we’re here to make it simple. If you’re aged 7–65, an Australian citizen or permanent resident, and living with a permanent disability, you may be eligible for NDIS funding.

Here’s how it works:
1️⃣ Confirm your eligibility
2️⃣ Make an Access Request – call 1800 800 110 or complete the form
3️⃣ Prepare for your Planning Meeting – set your goals & gather info
4️⃣ Receive your Plan – tailored to your needs and goals
5️⃣ Start accessing supports – with help from the NDIA, self-management, or a trusted plan manager like us! 🙌
