The NDIS has introduced some important changes to help make plans clearer and easier to manage. Here’s what you need to know 👇

✨ Impairment Categories – A new way of grouping disabilities (like physical, neurological, psychosocial, or intellectual) so your supports better align with your needs. You’ll see this at your next plan review or if you’re starting a new plan.

✨ Funding Components – Your budget is now broken into clear sections (like personal care, therapy, or transport), making it easier to see where funds can be used.

✨ Funding Periods – Instead of accessing your full budget at once, funds will now be released in stages (often 3 months at a time) to encourage sustainable use across your plan.
