You might not always feel like moving but you pretty much ALWAYS feel better for it after. And so will your body, joints, muscles, everything!
Training with Sal and the gang from on Mondays at 6:30pm is ace. Once I’m there, I’m all in and I love it. But sometimes a pesky voice gets in my head and I think I’m too busy, I’m too tired, I haven’t seen the kids enough, I’m not home with my husband enough etc etc… but..you can’t pour from an empty cup. I come home happier, refreshed and ready for the week ahead.
I’m a big fan of back rehab and strength training and do honestly believe if we all did more, I’d be out of a job. Not quite butttt it’s certainly made a huge difference in my back pain since starting regularly and consistently with . Being on my feet all day and being such a big manual adjuster takes it tolls on my body and I know I need strengthening to ensure I can still do a decent lumbar roll in 20 years!!
It’s also given me the strength and confidence to return to reformer Pilates which I haven’t felt able to since a disc injury back in 2020. The combination now is brilliant and I feel so much more energised and refreshed for work and for my family.
If you need strength training (we all do!), hate the idea of big gyms, feel nervous, intimidated, haven’t got a clue where to start…check out
Enough rambling, enjoy your weekend, enjoy a wine and enjoy some squats 😝
