SHOULDER PAIN that wonโt go away? It might be a rotator cuff injury ๐
Your rotator cuff is a group of muscles and tendons that stabilise your shoulder and help you lift and rotate your arm. When itโs irritated or torn, even simple movements can become painful.
๐ฉ Common signs:
โข Pain when lifting your arm (especially overhead)
โข Weakness in the shoulder
โข Difficulty sleeping on that side
โข Clicking or aching with movement
๐ก What causes it?
โข Repetitive overhead movements (gym, work, sport)
โข Poor shoulder mechanics or posture
โข Sudden strain or lifting something heavy
๐ ๏ธ What actually helps? PHYSIO!! ๐
โข The right exercises (not complete rest!)
โข Gradual strength building
โข Improving movement patterns
โข Hands-on treatment
โ ๏ธ Ignoring it can make it worse over timeโearly treatment = faster recovery.
If this sounds like you, donโt just push through the pain. Get it checked and start fixing the cause, not just the symptoms.
