Hey Parentals, Families, Guardians and Young People!

You asked, we listened and we have pushed the start date of young hospitality heroes back till the 4th of February, to help cater for the youths that are still assessing what their moves are for next year.

If you are:
- Wanting to complete a Certificate II in Retail
- Disengaged from school of work
- Between the age of 15 to 19
- Gain assistance in being referred to external community organizations for help and support
- Learn employment related skills

This FREE program is for you. GO card provided if needed + Free Lunch every day

This program provides older Australians with a welcoming, supportive environment to stay active, socially connected, and engaged, while enjoying a range of meaningful activities designed to support wellbeing and independence.

This fully funded Skilling Queenslanders for Work program helps young people gain real skills, confidence, and experience to step into the workforce or continue their education.

What you’ll get:
✔ Complete a Certificate II in Hospitality
✔ Pre-employment support (resume, cover letters & interview skills)
✔ Hands-on training in the classroom and the kitchen
✔ Employer visits and industry insights
✔ Team building activities - including Bounce and the Story Bridge Climb!

What’s involved in SLES?

✔ Travel training and communication skills for independence
