Hope you have a safe and happy holiday season with friends and family. We’re back on the 5th of January. If you need medical assistance during this time contact Healthdirect for telephone advice or attend the Medicare Urgent Care Clinic at Charlestown. Hopefully you won’t need it, but if you do seek medical assistance during the holiday period whether it’s on the phone, at a hospital or another clinic please be patient and show kindness to those who are giving up their time to care for those in need. 🙏🏻

From 1st November Cardiff General Practice is bulk-billing all Medicare eligible patients for all Medicare eligible services.

We have always bulk-billed conession cards holders and children under 16yrs of age (and a lot of patients not eligible for the old bulk-billing incentive)and our commitment to bulk-billing our community has been a challenge to maintain over the years with the Government freezing rebates and failing to keep up with the rising costs of running a practice. We hope that this new government incentive is enough to allow us to continue bulk-billing and providing essential services within our community.

🙌🏻 Appreciation post! Thank you to our beautiful patient for keeping our spirits (and our blood sugar) up!! 😂 💛 both needed a boost after the last couple of weeks and this was a really pleasant surprise to come in to this morning ☺️

For EVERYONE who has worked hard fielding the many calls and enquiries, making the bookings, and giving up their time to make our mass vaccination clinics happen the last few Sundays - well done! It has clearly made an impact to receive such a generous gift.
