We are ECSTATIC to announce that our dream of being a dedicated, independent communication and sensory wellbeing hub is a reality!

We now offer affirming, sensory based supports in communication and feeding, social work, counselling, s*x therapy and in early 2026, occupational therapy!

At Speechcare, our focus is on building skills that support access to daily living. We understand the impact communication differences and disorders have on accessing other health services.
That's why we are now offering neurodiverse-affirming supports that value lived experience. Our clinicians learn from each other about how we can support you.

At Speechcare, we stand for peace, inclusion and diversity. We mourn with Australia today and yet, events like this senseless, cruel shooting at Bondi further galvanise us. This is not the world we want, and it won’t be the one we create.

Hi everyone,
We are offering neurodiversity affirming supports for families with a focus on peer connection and confidence.

If you are interested in registering for peer groups and helping your child or adult find their 'neurokin' please feel free to fill in this form.

We offer AHA and Speech pathologist-run groups for all ages, with a focus on identity and self-advocacy, community access and participation.

We run small groups (2-3 people) with well-matched individuals.
Some of our groups so far have been: Dungeon and Dragons, Minecraft, Pokemon and gaming, visiting shops and learning to plan outings, emotional literacy and supporting each other through burnout, recognising the signs of burnout and how to get support, pottery-making, just to name a few!

We would love to add to our offering. We all work with a trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming lens, and provide family supports where required. We also have social work and counselling available and can refer on when needed.
