MetroPol Doctors Carindale is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join our friendly and well-established general practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident RN who enjoys leadership and thrives in a busy primary care environment.

About the Role
As the Registered Nurse at our Carindale clinic, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care while leading and supporting two Enrolled Nurses (ENs). You will work closely with our GPs and practice team to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care in a general practice setting
Lead, supervise, and support two Enrolled Nurses
Coordinate and manage clinical workflows within the clinic
Perform treatment room duties (immunisations, wound care, ECGs, care plans, health assessments, etc.)
Assist with chronic disease management and preventative health activities
Ensure compliance with infection control, accreditation, and clinical protocols
About You
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Previous experience in general practice in Australia is essential
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and support nursing staff
Strong organisational, problem solving ability and communication skills
A patient-focused, professional, and team-oriented approach
Knowledge of Best Practice software (desirable but not essential)
Australian citizenship or permanent residency required

We are hiring an experienced practice nurse (RN) for a perm PT position. You will be joining a nursing team with 2 other fantastic nurses. This role has the potential to increase hours in due course.
Essential skills and experience required:
• Previous experience as a practice nurse in a General Practice is required
• Previous experience in Chronic Care is required
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• High levels of organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Experience using Best Practice is highly desirable
• Immunisation certificate (highly desirable)
• Experience in health assessments and chronic disease care plans
• Full Australian work rights
The role would include (but not limited to):
• Occasional Chronic disease management
• Wound management
• Immunisations including ability provide childhood vaccines.
• Assisting GP's in minor procedures
• Triaging patients
• Maintenance of practice equipment and stock
• Ear Syringing
• Iron infusion
• Creating processes and procedures
