Prescribing power wheelchairs is easier when you’ve tried one out yourself.

Drive Before You Prescribe – A hands-on guide to power wheelchair bases and power seat functions is an immersive education session designed for occupational therapists.

Explore the world of complex rehab power wheelchairs with us. Compare front, mid and rear-wheel drive bases side by side. Navigate real indoor and outdoor obstacles. Feel the difference in stability, turning and performance first-hand.

You’ll also trial key power seat functions including tilt, recline, elevating legrests, seat lift, anterior tilt and standing – and explore how each feature supports posture, pressure care and functional goals.

This session blends practical experience with clear clinical reasoning, so you leave with confidence in both assessment and prescription.

From Friday 31st January, our NSW and ACT showrooms will be closed on Saturdays.

We understand this might be inconvenient if you've been visiting or scheduling trials with us on weekends, and we genuinely appreciate your understanding as we make this change.

All I want for Christmas is a pink wheelchair! ✨💖

Two days before Christmas, Brooke received something pretty special. A wheelchair designed exactly as she requested, bold, joyful and very pink.

Our wonderful ATP Sarah Sheldon delivered the chair to Brooke and couldn’t be happier: “I delivered her chair today and I have been so excited to get this one to her because it is so pinked out!! She asked for everything pink and we delivered!”

It arrived just in time for Christmas celebrations, bringing smiles, independence and the joy of being the pink heart of the festive party!

A walking stick is only safe and supportive IF it’s the right height.

Here’s how to get it right:
– Wear supportive footwear
– Stand tall with arms relaxed at your sides
– Handle height should line up with the wrist crease
– Elbow should have a 10–20° bend when holding the stick

A poorly fitted stick can cause pain, poor posture and even increase falls risk – so it’s worth getting right.
