Epilepsy affects more than seizures. It can impact balance, mobility, strength and confidence.

On Purple Day, we recognise individuals living with epilepsy and the importance of comprehensive care.

For some clients, neurological rehabilitation can assist with coordination, fall prevention and building physical resilience, particularly where seizures or medication have affected mobility.

Our multidisciplinary team works alongside your broader medical network to ensure therapy is safe, appropriate and goal-orientated.

Support continues beyond diagnosis.

Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) affects movement, sensation and motor control, yet many people struggle for years without clear answers.

FND is real. It is treatable. And rehabilitation plays a key role.

Neurological rehabilitation for FND focuses on retraining the nervous system and restoring functional movement patterns. Through structured exercise therapy and graded, goal-based programs, many people experience meaningful improvements in independence and quality of life.

At Linz Allied Rehab, every program is individualised and designed around realistic, measurable goals.

If you or someone you know is living with FND, specialist rehabilitation may help.

Falls are not an inevitable part of ageing.

For individuals with neurological conditions, reduced balance, muscle weakness and slower reaction times can increase fall risk. Targeted intervention can reduce this risk significantly.

Our falls prevention programs focus on strength, balance retraining, coordination and functional task practice. Every session is delivered 1:1 in our specialised neurological gym and tailored to individual goals.

Proactive rehabilitation reduces hospital admissions and improves long-term independence.

If you or a family member is concerned about falls, early intervention matters.

Neurological rehabilitation has evolved.

Technology now plays a powerful role in retraining the nervous system. From functional electrical stimulation (FES) gait training to robotic exoskeletons and gamified rehabilitation, modern tools allow us to target movement patterns with precision and repetition.

But technology alone isn’t enough. It must be guided by skilled clinicians and tailored to meaningful goals.

At Linz Allied Rehab, we integrate advanced equipment with traditional evidence-based therapy, delivered 1:1 in a supportive and community-focused environment.

Your goals are our mission.

Recovery doesn’t end when hospital care does.

Brain Awareness Week is a reminder that healing after a stroke, brain injury or neurological diagnosis is an ongoing journey. The nervous system has the ability to adapt and rewire, but it requires targeted, consistent rehabilitation.

At Linz Allied Rehab, we combine evidence-based neurological therapy with advanced rehabilitation technology in a fully equipped neurological gym. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to improve mobility, balance, strength and functional independence.

Because progress isn’t accidental. It’s structured, personalised and goal-driven.

If you or a loved one has recently been discharged from hospital, early neurological rehabilitation can make a significant difference.

Huge thank you to the Stroke NSW group in the Sutherland Shire for inviting us to talk at one of their monthly meetings. It was great to share a bit about what we do and to learn about the experiences of those within the group. It’s an amazing network for those looking to connect with other stroke survivors, so we strongly recommend checking out for further information.

We’ve recently gotten to know Nora, and were thrilled that she shared her book with us about her stroke recovery journey. The book provides an amazing, in depth insight into Nora’s personal experiences, both the highs and the lows. We’ll keep ‘The Winter Sun’ in our waiting area, and encourage our clients, their carers, family or other visitors to check it out!
