Postpartum Core Recovery

360° Breathing
This gentle, powerful technique helps reconnect you to your deep core and pelvic floor - especially after birth (vaginal or C-section).

Unlike shallow chest breathing, 360° breathing expands your ribs, back and belly with each inhale and encourages full pelvic floor relaxation and reconnection on the exhale.

• Start lying down or seated
• Inhale - feel your ribs expand sideways and into your back
• Exhale - gently lift your pelvic floor and draw your lower belly inward
• Repeat for 5–10 deep, intentional breaths

Perfect for the early days of healing and the foundation of safe postpartum movement

Vegan, Gluten-Free Chocolate Rice Crispie Treats 🍫

Ingredients:
• 3 cups rice puffs
• 1/2 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
• 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
• 2 tablespoons coconut oil
• 1 cup dairy-free dark chocolate, chopped or chips or a block of vegan dark chocolate

Instructions:
1. Prepare the tray:
Line a square baking tin (roughly 8x8 inch) with baking paper and set aside. Or use a silicon baking tray.
2. Make the sticky base:
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt together the peanut butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil until smooth and well combined (about 2–3 minutes). Stir constantly to prevent sticking.
3. Add the chocolate:
Remove from heat and stir in the chopped dark chocolate until melted and glossy. If needed, return to very low heat briefly to fully melt.
4. Mix with rice puffs:
Place the rice puffs in a large mixing bowl. Pour the warm chocolate mixture over the puffs and stir gently but thoroughly until all the rice puffs are coated.
5. Set and chill:
Transfer the mixture into your lined tin. Press down firmly with a spatula or your hands (slightly dampened or oiled to prevent sticking) to create an even layer.
6. Refrigerate:
Chill in the fridge for at least 1–2 hours, or until fully set.
7. Slice and enjoy:
Cut into squares or bars and store in the fridge for up to a week (or freeze for longer).

Optional Add-ins:
• A pinch of sea salt
• A handful of chopped nuts or seeds
• A sprinkle of desiccated coconut on top before chilling
