It is a Raj yoga that brings those who practice the lifestyle to a state of higher consciousness and well being. Kundalini Yoga is the yoga of awareness. It is a science and also a technology. Through the use of breath (pranayam), mantra (sound), and asanas (angles of the body known as postures), this technology awakens your awareness and takes you back to your original Self. It helps you remember who you really are by connecting you with the vastness of the Creative Force from which you came. You are not only working the muscular system, you are healing your organs, clearing your energetic body and bringing clarity and calm to the mind. Kundalini Yoga takes you to a state of pure, high vibrational consciousness that goes beyond any mind processes. This state is know as Shuniya. With a combination of physical exercise, pranayam, mantra, meditation and relaxation, not only are you increasing your flexibility, cardiovascular health, lymphatic, digestive, reproductive, nervous system and glandular function. You are energising your body, detoxifying and balancing your entire being.

We have at our fingertips all the power to transform our lives.
Breathe consciously.
Move with purpose.
Live intentionally.

Kundalini is the yoga of Awakening. It is powerful. It is deeply healing. It is bliss โœจ๐Ÿ’›โœจ

In my yogic teachings I was taught we have 72 000 nadis. Thats a lot of energy when all are flowing well.

Nadi is Sanskrit word that can be translated as โ€œtube,โ€ โ€œchannelโ€ or โ€œflow.โ€ It refers to the network of channels through which energy travels through the body.

The number of nadis that the body is believed to contain varies depending on the tradition, but there are three principal nadis that weave through the spinal cord and the intense energy centers known as chakras.

In yoga, asanas, breathing exercises (pranayama) and chanting are among the tools used to help circulate the prana (life energy) through the nadis.

In the traditional eastern health sciences, such as Ayurvedic, and in yoga philosophy, all living things function thanks to the life energy known as prana, which circulates in the body through the subtle pathways known as nadis.

Prana can circulate only when the nadis are clear and strong. When the nadi system is blocked, prana cannot flow, and a person's physical and mental health are negatively affected.

The three main nadis are:

Ida nadi โ€“ Called the left channel, ida nadi starts in the muladhara (root) chakra, flowing to the left and weaving in and out of the chakras before ending in the left nostril. This nadi represents mental energy.

Pingala nadi โ€“ Referred to as the right channel, pingala nadi also starts in the root chakra, but flows to the right, weaving in and out of the chakras in a mirror image of ida nadi and ending in the right nostril. Pingala nadi is the origin of prana.

Sushumna nadi โ€“ The central channel, sushumna nadi runs straight up the spine and through the chakras from just below the root chakra to the sahasrara (crown) chakra. This is the nadi of spiritual awareness.

A major focus of Hatha and Kundalini yoga is balancing the nadis, and one of the most effective methods of doing so is a form of pranayama called nadi shodhana, or alternate nostril breathing.

We have at our fingertips all the power to transform our lives.
Breathe consciously.
Move with purpose.
Live intentionally.
