Affirmations like:
“I release this money knowing it will return to me multiplied.”

You can write affirmations on a bay leaf and burn it, releasing the intention into the universe.
Or start a simple daily gratitude practice for the abundance already flowing into your life.

And here’s the powerful one…
Give thanks for your bills too. They represent the things supporting your life… your home, your electricity, your phone and all your comforts.

Gratitude expands energy.
And what you appreciate… grows. ✨

I’ve been playing with money spells and witchy abundance rituals for a while now, and this is one of the simplest ones.
Write the numbers or amount you’re calling in on a bay leaf, set the intention, and burn it to release that energy out into the universe ✨

Is it a little witchy? Absolutely.�Do I love rituals that help shift my mindset into abundance? Also absolutely.

Sometimes manifestation looks like journaling… sometimes it looks like burning herbs in your kitchen.

The past few weeks my body has needed a little extra care. After being on medication, my stomach has been really struggling… so I decided it was time to go back to one of the most nourishing, ancient remedies we have… bone broth.

Yesterday I made a big batch using chicken carcasses, lamb marrow bones, onion, garlic, ginger, carrot, turmeric, Celtic sea salt and healing herbs. Slowly simmered to draw out all the minerals, collagen and goodness our bodies love.

Bone broth is incredible for helping support the gut lining, calming inflammation and giving the digestive system a gentle reset exactly what my body has been asking for right now.

Why does grief feel so heavy right now?

Lately it feels like the world is grieving losses, endings, heartbreak, unmet expectations, people leaving, relationships dissolving…
But it’s not just what’s happening around us. It’s what’s happening within us.

Grief doesn’t always hit with dramatic moments.
Sometimes it’s slow like a tide pulling back.
Sometimes it’s sudden like lightning.
And sometimes it literally comes out of nowhere! This can feel like the worst type.

Here’s the thing most people don’t talk about:
Grief isn’t only about loss.

It’s about:
✨ Losing who we thought we were
✨ Letting go of old versions of ourselves
✨ Releasing identities that no longer fit
✨ Surrendering dreams that never came true
✨ Feeling unmoored in a world that keeps shifting

Right now, we’re in a threshold moment — an energetic doorway between what was and what’s emerging.
Grief shows up when something inside of us is asking to evolve, to awake, to realign.

It feels heavy because it’s not just sadness, it’s transformation.
And transformation doesn’t happen gently.
It happens with friction.
With loss.
With the dissolving of familiar ground.

Ancestory DNA = 💩
Comprehensive DNA test = 🏆

Ok these were amazing, they were exactly what we were wanting!
Not only did the tests look at risk factors for Alzheimer’s and dementia, it looked at how how bodies may react to certain pathogens like Covid, tonsillitis, respiratory infections etc etc

The other incredible detail was the vitamins our body’s are more likely to be deficient in!
A wild thing we learnt was because Zach has a darker skin tone to me his body doesn’t not absorb Vitamin D as much as mine and his results showed he’d be more likely to have a vitamin D deficiency!

Have you heard of people “cricketing”? 🦗

Cricketing is when someone rubs their feet together, often unconsciously. It’s actually a very common self-soothing trauma response.

When the nervous system has experienced stress or overwhelm, the body looks for ways to regulate itself. These small repetitive movements help the body feel safer.

🦗 Cricketing can happen when someone:
• is trying to calm anxiety or restlessness
• feels overstimulated or overwhelmed
• is winding down before sleep
• is processing emotions without realising it

Other common self-soothing trauma responses include:
• sucking a thumb or finger
• shaking or bouncing a leg
• playing with hair or clothing
• rocking gently
• rubbing hands together

These behaviours aren’t “bad habits”, they’re the body’s intelligent way of regulating and creating safety.

If you notice yourself (or your child) doing these things, it’s not something to stop. It’s something to notice with curiosity and compassion.

The body always tells the truth.

💃🏼Mums!! here’s a simple and fun little ritual to try with your kids.

Place all your crystals on a tray or in a bowl and each Sunday invite your child to choose one. No thinking, no guiding, just let them grab what they’re drawn to.

Then take a moment to look up the meaning of the crystal they chose. You’ll often get a gentle insight into what your child might need that week, whether that’s calm, grounding, confidence or extra love.

Kids are far more intuitive than we realise and this is such a beautiful way to connect and tune in.
