Recovery isn’t just something for elite athletes - it’s a game-changer for anyone building confidence through movement.

Whether you’re just getting started, trying new things or working toward your own personal goals, what you do outsidethe session matters just as much as what you do in it.

Here are 5 recovery basics we focus on with our participants:
✅ Stay hydrated every day (not just training days!)
✅ Choose nourishing meals with protein and healthy fats
✅ Eat a light snack before sessions to fuel your body
✅ Aim for 7-9 hours of quality rest (your muscles repair while you sleep)
✅ Try a cold shower to reset and recharge your nervous system

Recovery doesn’t have to be fancy. Just consistent. Just yours. Just enough to help you feel good - in your body and your brain.

A gentle reminder as we head into the new year 💚

There’s a lot of noise this time of year about resolutions, routines and “fixing yourself.”

But here’s the truth… you don’t need a whole new you.

✔️ Small steps count.
✔️ Trying counts.
✔️ Rest counts.
✔️ Support counts.
✔️ And doing things in your own time that counts too.

For many people in our community, goals aren’t about perfection. They’re about feeling a little stronger, a little more confident, a little more supported in daily life.

And that’s more than enough.
