This research found that following SARS-CoV-2 infection, participants were 74% more likely to be diagnosed with chronic rhinosinusitis, 66% more likely to be diagnosed with asthma, and 37% more likely to be allergic rhinitis. At last an article that draws attention to the possibility of vitamin D overdose. Many people, including health professionals seem to think that vitamin D is a safe supplement, at any level. WRONG. Stay within the recommendation if supplementation is needed but dosing 4000IU+ does have the potential to lead to toxicity.

Excessive vitamin D intake triggers severe hypercalcemia and kidney injury in otherwise healthy individuals, highlighting the risk for unsupervised supplementation.
